My experience was great this week. I didn't go Monday because I had to watch my brother since there wasn't school, but the rest of the week was nice. I added a few things up for Beth, I did a few bank recs for Bobby, and they are showing me how to answer phones. The first bank rec Bobby had me do was really challenging and I had a hard time with it. I did my best but I couldn't get the numbers to equal. Bobby took a look and helped me out. The second bank rec I did I was able to finish easily. It was probably the easiest one I have done. The third one I did felt easy, but when I was done the numbers didn't equal. After going over all my numbers several times I was able to find the problem. There was an outstanding check from June that had actually cleared, but it was showing up that it didn't clear. Figuring out where the problem was by myself was a really good feeling. On Thursday Beth had me go through a bunch of envelopes and pull out employee time cards and add them up. It was an easy week, and I'm happy I got to work on bank recs and I'm happy they are showing me how to set up appointments.
If I won the Powerball Jackpot I would make sure my family was taken care of. We recently found out that my 8 year old brother, Matthew, has a bad heart and will soon need open heart surgery to correct the problem. He will have to have multiple surgeries throughout his life to make sure that everything is functioning properly. I would pay for the procedure, and then put money aside for the other procedures he will need throughout the rest of his life. I would give my parents money so they could leave their jobs because my mom is a nurse and my dad is a contractor and their jobs are really hard on their bodies. I would put money aside for my sister, brother, and I to go to college. I don't really know what else I would spend money on. My family is most important to me though and I would make sure that they are taken care of before I decided to spend any money on myself or anybody else. I would not quit my job. I believe working is an important part of living and I cant imagine myself not working.
